The EH&S Mission
From former director Jan-Arthur UtrechtOur Mission is to partner with the University of Cincinnati community to facilitate and promote safety, health, and environmental management.
Environmental Health and Safety is three programs in one office - environmental management, and industrial hygiene - that support the University's accountability for environmental compliance with all laws, regulations, and related good practices, and implement positive initiatives that foster a safer and more environmentally sustainable campus. A single telephone number, 513-556-4968, is available to all members of the University of Cincinnat community, and directs inquiries and requests to one place where tyhe request is screened and quickly referred to the right expert.
Our goal is to support the mission of the university by helping staff, faculty, and students and achieve excellence through stewardship for safety, health, and the environment.
